Short Bio: 
Melinda Fricke is an Assistant Professor in the Linguistics Department at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to beginning her position at Pitt, she completed her Ph.D. in Linguistics at UC Berkeley and her postdoctoral training in Psychology at Penn State. Her research interests include bilingualism, cross-language effects in language processing, speech perception, speech production, and variation in spontaneous speech.
