Short Bio:
I did my graduate work at UCLA. I direct the Linguistics Program at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. My research focuses on the Native languages of the southern U.S., especially the Muskogean family (Muskogee, Miccosukee, Koasati, Choctaw).
I am interested in syntax, phonology (especially tone), typology, and historical linguistics.
